A population of Spiraea pikoviensis Besser on a small (0.5 ha) forest glade near village Pykov, Kalynovka District, Vinnytsia Region, where A. Andrzhejowski in 1816 collected a specimen of this species described by W. Besser in 1822, was observed. Based on the methodology of sinphytoindication, modern state of the micropopulation is described and the ecological-coenotic growing conditions are evaluated. According to the IUCN classification, this species belongs to the CR (Critically Endangered) category due to high risk of the habitat destruction and population loss. Conservation measures for the population and species restoration are proposed.
