Epigeous gasteromycetes of the north western part of the Black Sea Region

Abstract

A list of epigeous gasteromycetes of the north-western part of the Black Sea Region collected during vegetation periods in 2008 –2012 is reported. In total, 34 species of 13 genera, 4 families, 4 orders of the Agaricomycetes, Basidiomycota, were recorded. Tulostoma americanum Lloyd is a newly recorded species for Ukraine. Locality descriptions, types of substrates, illustrations of the fruit bodies and original descriptions are provided; for the new records illustrations of macro- and microstructures are added. Ecological trophic characteristics and data practical use of gasteromycetes are presented.
