This article continues a series of publications providing critical reviews of the species composition of powdery mildew fungi (Erysiphaceae, Helotiales, Ascomycota) of Ukraine and their distribution patterns within the country. The article deals with species of Erysiphe sect. Uncinula. This section includes representatives of the genus having fruiting bodies with mostly simple appendages differentiated from the mycelium and ending in distinctly uncinate or even subhelical apices. In the article, a list of 11 species of sect. Uncinula recorded in Ukraine, their distribution by regions of Ukraine, as well as a key for identification are provided. The most common species frequently occurring in many regions of Ukraine are native Erysiphe adunca and E. prunastri. Some species, such as E. arcuata, E. capreae, E. flexuosa, E. necator and E. ulmi, were recorded much less often. Erysiphe australiana, E. kenjiana and E. salmonii found only in 1–4 regions are considered rare species. Most species of sect. Uncinula are alien in Ukraine, and were introduced relatively recently, within a century, or even during recent decades.
